John Bonasera - Canberra Raiders Football Manager:
Andrew filled various roles at the Canberra Raiders including Welfare and Education Officer, while working as the National Youth Competition Head Coach. After one outstanding season the team reached the Grand Final and Andrew was promoted to NRL Assistant Coach. His exceptional work ethic and diligence in balancing his welfare and education responsibilities, while coaching his own team, was first-class. Throughout his time at the Raiders, Andrew was always available to help whenever required while peforming all his work unsupervised and efficiently. His continued relationship with all players he has coached, at all levels, is testament to the person Andrew is. His knowledge of the game of rugby league and established network of high profile people within the elite sporting community will stand him in great stead for a successful future in the industry.

Brett White – Australia and NSW Representative Player: After working with and being coached by Andrew over a two year period, I have seen first hand the passion he has for his players' welfare and devotion he gives individuals in helping them to achieve their goals.

David Shillington: Australia and Queensland Representative Player:
I feel very fortunate to have had Andrew as my Coach at the Canberra Raiders. He always displayed a huge work ethic and a great knowledge of the game. His passion rubbed off on the players and I knew he had genuine care for his players, which I know my team mates and I all appreciated and respected him for.

Frank Arsego – Director Sportslife iQ/Former Coach Singapore Slingers/NZ Breakers Basketball teams:
I have had the opportunity to work with Andrew (NYC Head Coach and NRL Assistant Coach) over the past two years in the area of player welfare and support. From day one it was evident that he was much more than a coach because of his holistic approach to player development, it was second to none. Andrew believed in the player’s having an awareness and skills with regards to their mental health and wellbeing, as it would enhance their on-field sporting performances and their personal life off the field. He is right on the sporting pulse in regards to wellbeing and welfare, as this is the “X-factor” of sporting success for athletes and all involved in the sports industry. I believe his people skills and this personal quality will be a major drawcard for anyone in the world of sport looking to have their career managed and supported by Boom Sports Management and Media.

Mitch Cornish - Canberra Raiders/NSW State of Origin U/20’s/Junior Kangaroos:
Andrew is the ultimate professional, the amount of time and effort he puts into his work to be the best is unbelievable. His leadership and direction coupled with a reassuring nature will allow any athlete to reach their full potential. To date the best I’ve had.

Brian Crisp - National Travel Editor News Corp:
As National Travel Editor with News Corp I worked with John over a number of years. I found him to be extremely good at his job. He values the art of relationship building and I was impressed with his ability to understand my products – as well as those that he represented. He is results driven and makes it possible for those working with him to achieve any pre-set goals. I would say that he is one of the most effective, and reliable, PR people I have worked with.

Brad Foster – Managing Editor micenet AUSTRALIA:
In my more than 10 years as the Managing Editor of micenet AUSTRALIA magazine – a publication that focuses on the business event sector – I can honestly say that John’s management of PR at Gold Coast Tourism was the best of any tourism or convention bureau in Australia or indeed internationally. Further clarification on a story, a request for images to accompany a story, an interview request with the CEO, and any other additional requests, were never a problem and always achieved with the utmost professionalism and promptness. John’s coordination of the Gold Coast Tourism Corporation-sponsored luncheon at the AIME exhibition in Melbourne each February was legendary and was a must-attend event for journalists working in the business event sector in Australia and overseas.

Martin Winter – CEO Gold Coast Tourism:
John is a highly-regarded and genuinely reliable communications professional. He demonstrated over many years with Gold Coast Tourism an ability to build meaningful media relationships and deliver communications outcomes which positively impacted our business.

Brett Murray – CEO BAM Media:
During John’s time at BAM Media, he became an integral part of a young dynamic team positioning itself as a major player in corporate, event, government and sports media and public relations. John’s ability to work original concepts, contribute to group activities and his attention to detail saw him consistently achieve results above expectations of his nominated clients. John’s overall work ethic, enthusiasm and knowledge of all facets of the media greatly contributed to his success. The relationships he developed in the media, government and corporate world have stood him in good stead as his career has gone from strength to strength.
